SurViz—automated generation of travel time representations for stated preference surveys
SurViz can be used to automatically create and visualize travel time representations for stated preference (SP) surveys for traffic research. The aim is to simplify the design of such surveys and, at the same time, improve their comprehensibility by graphically presenting the decision situations. The application enables the configuration of relevant framework conditions (displayed alternatives, attributes, etc.), the use of various input formats (e.g. NGene output or CSV files), and the export of visualizations for insertion into standard survey systems.
The software is available as a desktop application under an open source license and can be further developed according to your own requirements (programming language used: Kotlin). The developers provide no support or liability.
The tool was developed as part of a student project by Alexander Homann, Julius Pfister, Armin Brändle, Benicio Nell and Jaro Dominik.
